Ko Warren Williams tōku ingoaWarren brings over 25 years’ experience across IT, business, higher education, leadership, and governance. He is passionate about empowering communities through education, technology, and cultural advocacy.
With an MBA in Leadership and a PhD in Strategic Management, Warren’s mahi is grounded in research, equity, and community-centred outcomes. Guided by rangatiratanga, he is committed to helping people across Aotearoa build the digital skills and confidence to participate fully in today’s world.

Shona joined the organisation in 2013, when it was known as the 20/20 Communications Trust. She began by coordinating and delivering the Computers in Homes programme across Manawatū and Horowhenua, gaining first-hand insight into the digital barriers whānau face.
Now serving as National Programmes Operations Manager, Shona brings a strong background in social services and a passion for working alongside whānau. Her mahi focuses on building digital literacy, confidence, and connection through practical, community-led programmes.
Mā te mahi tahi me ngā hapori, ka pūmanawa ai te kōkiri i te rākeitanga matihiko mō te katoa.

Anna brings more than 30 years’ experience across the charitable, membership, and healthcare sectors. As Finance Manager, she supports the financial health of Katoa Connect Trust and contributes to key areas including human resources, policy, and organisational operations.
Alongside her work with Katoa Connect, Anna is also Practice Manager for a medical centre on the Kāpiti Coast. She brings a steady, practical, and people-focused approach to supporting the systems that help the Trust deliver meaningful outcomes.

Originally from France, Seraphim has called Aotearoa home since 2008. She joined Katoa Connect Trust in 2019, bringing experience from international corporate and public sector roles.
Seraphim supports the Chief Executive, manages external enquiries, and serves as Secretary to the Board of Trustees. She is passionate about diversity, cultural understanding, and the wisdom held within all cultures, including te ao Māori. Outside of work, Seraphim is an avid musician.

Tuiara is a New Zealand-born Cook Islander who is passionate about whānau, culture, community connection, and helping people thrive.
She joined Katoa Connect Trust, formerly 20/20 Trust, in 2021 as a Facilitator before becoming Programmes Coordinator for the Central North Island in 2022. She now works as Lead Programmes Coordinator, supporting programmes and classes from Waikato through to Dunedin.
As a mother of seven and grandmother to four mokopuna, Tuiara is guided by gratitude, whānau, and the importance of paving the way for future generations. Her mahi is grounded in care, encouragement, and a strong belief in helping people build confidence and reach their potential.

Faava has been part of the Trust since 2016, first joining as a Facilitator before moving into Programme Support in 2020 and becoming a Programmes Coordinator in 2022.
A proud Samoan woman, Faava is passionate about serving her community and supporting digital inclusion across Aotearoa. She works alongside communities in Auckland and the South Island, including Timaru, Oamaru, and Dunedin.
Motivated by her three boys, Faava’s mahi is grounded in connection, confidence, and helping ensure no one is left behind in the digital world.

Jane joined Katoa Connect Trust as a Programme Coordinator in March 2021 and has found the journey deeply rewarding.
While technology continues to change quickly, Jane’s focus remains on making sure people are not left behind. She is passionate about supporting communities to build digital literacy, confidence, and wellbeing.
Her mahi is grounded in empowering others with the tools and knowledge to navigate the digital world safely and effectively, opening doors to new opportunities for whānau and future generations.

HueyNi is an education and community practitioner who is passionate about helping learners grow. She creates welcoming learning spaces where people feel respected, supported, and confident to build new skills.
Before moving to Aotearoa New Zealand, HueyNi worked as a high school teacher across several international schools in Asia. She later spent seven years with Auckland Council as a Community Engagement Specialist, delivering programmes alongside diverse communities.
HueyNi joined Katoa Connect in 2023, became a part-time Facilitator in 2024, and now serves as Programmes Coordinator and Facilitator. Her mahi is grounded in helping digital literacy take root in everyday life, building confidence, connection, and opportunity.

Ko Malik Pekepo-Tangaroa tōku ingoa.Malik joined Katoa Connect Trust in March 2023 and has since grown into the role of Projects Coordinator. She brings strong organisation, structure, and a creative lens to her mahi through content creation, marketing, and storytelling.
Malik is passionate about uplifting Māori and Pasifika communities and supporting digital inclusion across the organisation. She is committed to ongoing learning, growing her kete mātauranga to strengthen her work and contribution to the wider team.

Nanar joined Katoa Connect Trust in 2022, bringing a strong background in instructional design, media, information systems, business computing, and tertiary teaching.
She supports the Trust with her knowledge of learning management systems, client management systems, web design, and development. Her experience working with learners also adds valuable insight to the team.
Friendly, reliable, and solutions-focused, Nanar is known for turning challenges into opportunities. She is also fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, helping support connection across different communities.

Craig is the Chief Executive of TUANZ, the Technology Users Association, an independent member-based organisation helping Aotearoa make the most of a digitally connected world.
With a strong background across the ICT sector, Craig has worked in stakeholder engagement, customer relationships, rural broadband, and commercial and regulatory frameworks through roles with Chorus and TelstraClear.
Craig is passionate about the role digital technology and communications can play in improving business, community, and everyday life across New Zealand.
He joined the Board in October 2021, was elected Chair of the Risk, Audit & Finance Committee in 2023, and became Chair of the Trust at the December 2025 AGM.

Guy brings experience across a range of governance and advisory board roles, supporting organisations with strategy, collaboration, and fresh thinking.
He believes lifelong learning, innovation, and emotional agility are essential for problem solving, growth, and adapting to change. Guy enjoys joining the dots between people, ideas, challenges, and opportunities, especially when it helps create practical value.
His work is driven by a desire to make a positive difference in people’s lives and contribute to a better future for communities.
Guy joined the Board in October 2021.

Stephen is an award-winning educator and researcher with experience across all areas of education.
He specialises in the strategic use of digital technology to support deeper learning, stronger engagement, and more equitable access across communities.
Stephen is a founding member of the Waitaha Digital Equity Network, Managing Director at Think e-Learning, and holds several governance roles.
Based in Ōtautahi with his wife and daughter, Stephen joined the Board in December 2024.

Megan works as an independent research and projects contractor, bringing governance experience across Māori and public health, education, sport and recreation, and community development.
Her professional background includes strategic planning and advice, workforce development, policy and advocacy, research and evaluation, funding, and procurement.
Megan is interested in the impact of emerging disruptive technologies on different communities, and how this mahi can support positive wellbeing outcomes.
Megan first joined the Board in October 2021 and will remain on for one more term.

Seb brings experience in Te Tiriti partnerships, community engagement, and strategic communications, with roles across central and local government, NGO, and education sectors.
His work is grounded in building strong relationships, supporting meaningful engagement, and helping organisations communicate with clarity and purpose.
Seb lives on Wellington’s beautiful South Coast with his partner Jo and their two young children.
Outside of work, he bikes to work, enjoys watching cricket at the Basin Reserve, and occasionally plays music in some of Te Whanganui-a-Tara’s more obscure venues.

Jaye is an executive leader with strong experience in community-led change, cross-sector partnerships, and governance.
They bring strengths in relationship-building and collaboration, helping connect funders, agencies, iwi, and communities around shared priorities and practical action.
Jaye is focused on supporting services that are culturally grounded, evidence-informed, and designed to create meaningful impact.
Their approach is strategic and people-centred, balancing ambition with rigour while keeping kindness, integrity, and community outcomes at the heart of the mahi.

Dr Abdul Nishar is an outcomes-focused leader with extensive experience in technology, digital transformation, and governance across Aotearoa and Australia.
He brings strong skills in strategic communication, stakeholder engagement, operational leadership, and project governance. His work has supported business transformation, customer experience, data security, and socially responsible outcomes across not-for-profits, SMEs, SOEs, and Crown entities.
Abdul is currently Digital Operational Platform Manager at Downer Group and has previously held senior technology and delivery roles. He is also a Chartered Member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors and a Justice of the Peace.
He is committed to best-practice governance, continuous learning, and helping organisations achieve practical, meaningful outcomes for the communities they serve.

Claire is the Principal of Albany Senior High School in Auckland and has more than 25 years’ experience across education and school leadership.
Her career has included roles in new and established secondary schools, national education projects, and as one of the foundation Deputy Principals at Hobsonville Point Secondary School.
Claire was a founding member of the Education Council of Aotearoa and has served on the board of NetSafeNZ.
She is also a member of the AI Forum and Global Women NZ, and co-founder of DisruptEDNZ, bringing a strong interest in innovation, learning, and positive change across education.
