Support for Older Adults
Kaumātua Senior Connect is a digital inclusion programme designed to support older people to build confidence and capability using digital technology. The programme focuses on helping Kaumātua develop practical digital skills that enable them to stay connected with whānau, access essential services, and participate more fully in everyday life.
Delivered in a supportive and age-friendly learning environment, the programme recognises that many seniors may feel hesitant or overwhelmed by technology. Learners are guided at a comfortable pace, with hands-on support that encourages confidence, independence, and ongoing learning.
The programme responds to a strong and ongoing need for digital inclusion among older people. By increasing digital confidence and access, Kaumātua Senior Connect helps reduce isolation, strengthen community connections, and support seniors to engage with an increasingly digital society.
